About the course

Our Bachelor of Computer Science is developed in collaboration with University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia. Our programme includes a core of computer science programming subjects as well as electives in database, languages, artificial intelligence, computer security, computer graphics, operating systems, real-time software and software engineering. You will be exposed to the study of algorithmic processes that describe and transform information: theory, analysis, design, efficiency, programming and application. 

With a solid foundation in Computer Science, you will be able to design and write programmes for computer applications including computer systems to control machinery, the analysis of stock market trends, games design, visualisation of chemical reactions, neural network design, computational geometry for robot navigation, automatic teller machines and patient monitoring in hospitals.


Allows you to specialize in software engineering, enterprise systems development, multimedia and game development or digital systems security, as well as study other disciplines including management, visual arts, languages, commerce and mathematics.

Entry Requirements
  • INTI Foundation: Completed the INTI Foundation Programme with CGPA of 2.4 or greater
  • INTI Diploma: Completed any INTI Diploma (Diploma in Information & Communications Technology and Diploma in Network Security) with an average mark of 60%
  • Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) (After 2003): Aggregate of 6 in best 3 subjects
  • Senior Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): Aggregate of 18 in best 5 subjects
  • Cambridge A Level: Minimum value of 8 must be achieved in either :
    • 3 A Level (A2) subjects Or
    • 2 A Level (A2) subjects & 2 Advanced Subsidiary (AS) subjects
  • Australia Degree Transfer Programme (ADTP) at INTI: Please check with Faculty of Informatics for further information
  • Canadian Pre-U or Ontario Secondary School Diploma: Minimum average score of 65%
  • Australian Year 12 South Australian Matriculation (SAM): Minimum Australian Tertiary Entrance Rank (ATAR) of 75%
  • University of New South Wales (UNSW) Foundation: Minimum GPA of 6.8
  • Other relevant Foundation / Diploma recognised by UOW: Minimum average mark of 60% (or equivalent)
